Be afraid. Be very, very afraid.
Microsoft rolls out a kind of desktop-publishing angle for the release of their new OS, Vista. They've sent out a Vista Industrial Design Toolkit to at least 70 different PC manufacturers, hoping the PC makers will design new casings for their computers. My favourite part is this statement: The look features "accelerated curves" and "purposeful contrast," among other qualities. "We want people to fall in love with their PCs, not to simply use them to be productive and successful," reads the enclosed booklet. "We want PCs to be objects of pure desire."
hahahahahahahaha.....ahhhh....ahahahahahahaha.....sigh.
Ok, onto the next jokefest. Check out http://www.seewindowsvista.com to see some real Vista in action. I mean, it's really...wait. WAIT. IS THAT...? HOLY SHIT! COMMANDER MIKE METCALF from Top Gun? SHEEEEIT. Windows, I tip my hat to you sir...good call. That dude was in Alien, for christ's sake.
