Have you seen My Fonts?

Hello All
I need some Help. In the summer I had to get a new hard drive and eventhough it was a minny heart attack I thought I managed to get everything off it and onto my new one. Yet somehow I now seem to be missing a bunch of fonts that are neccisary for one project and partly my portfolio.

If anyone has seen thes fonts somewhere can you let me know? Please email me or post a link.

Missing these fonts makes nasty red marks in my project and in my fontexplorer and in my heart.

I think I need a little lesson in managing fonts better if anyone has tip or tricks they want to share maybe you could earn a beer, or some food depends on how good they are.

Anyway for the matter at hand please see my lovely image.

and try not to judge.

merci

when you get your fonts, organize them in a folder called fonts, located under, say, documents. create subfolders however you like.
when importing them into fontexplorer, don't copy them, instead choose "let me manage my fonts", so your fonts stay in one central location.
then, in future, if you ever need to backup or what have you, your fonts are easily found and saved.

OR,

You can hide them in different subfolders all over your computer... maybe even put some in with your music.

Half the fun is trying to find them!

Hey Emma,

Techno is an Apple font and should come with your operating system (truetype version I think). Check under your system fonts.

PS: Emma, I'm looking for a "judy" for a shoot I'm doing about aprons. Do you know where I can find a nice one? No head.

You're lucky you were able to get most off your old hard drive onto your new one! I... I was not so lucky. The great crash of '06 will haunt me always.

Hey Thanks guys,
Mandy? How did it go with finding a Judy did you get one, and if Techno is a system font than could that mean I deleted my system fonts?
