globe redesign

the globe & mail relaunced its paper today, in a smaller format, and with a beautiful new masthead and custom typefaces. i have a feeling it was rod macdonald's work, but there is no mention (typical) of the designer in the section that discusses the new design direction. thoughts?

the editor-in-chief discusses the new direction.

I'm kinda disappointed. I don't love the sans, especially the light version. I like the body copy and section headers, it reads dark and a bit heavy.
