Kristine (Joe's better half) had an awesome open studio last night at the Hunter College MFA building here in NYC. She was showing some of her new work, including the painting shown here, titled Tunnel. For those who were at her Toronto show a few months back; the work is a continuation on the theme of urban structures and the idea of free urban planning.

I also had the chance to check out dozens of other artists who were showing work, including my new roommate, Seldon Yuan - who had some interesting studies of the NYC street grid. Shown here are all 5 boroughs.
