It's all about the interface and interactivity. Scientific America has done something similar this month as well. With all the new devices on the horizon (iphone etc), I can actually see this sort of media sticking around...
We are in the process of building our digital edition, it is so not as good as this one. I love the grass and the ease of use. I wish you could click on cover lines...
